About this release

Alessandro Stella's first solo album, devoted to the piano music of Edvard Grieg. A personal selection from the Lyric Pieces — a kind of diary that accompanied Grieg through much of his life. The album is enriched by two featuring: the Op. 48 song cycle, with soprano Giorgia Milanesi, and two of the Norwegian Dances for piano four hands with Giorgia Tomassi.

The release includes liner notes by Giovanni Bietti.
