How we handle your data.

Who we are

This website is run by Extended Place di Alessandro Stella, Via Tuscolana 841, 00174 Rome, Italy — VAT IT15975661008. We are the data controller for your personal data. You can reach us at info@extendedplace.com.

When you write to us

The contact form asks for your first name, your last name (optional), your email address and your message. We use them to answer you. There is no account and no database: the form sends us an email. We do this on the basis of our legitimate interest in replying to the people who write to us and, when your message is about a possible collaboration or purchase, to take the steps you ask for before a contract.

If you ask for news

The contact form has a box you can tick to receive occasional news about our releases. It is off unless you tick it, and you do not need to tick it to send your message. If you do, we keep your email address to write to you, on the basis of your consent. You can change your mind whenever you want: every email we send has an unsubscribe link, and you can also write to info@extendedplace.com. We keep your address until you unsubscribe.

When you visit

Our hosting provider records your IP address, the date and time, the page you asked for and your browser type in its server logs. This keeps the site running and protects it from abuse, on the basis of our legitimate interest. We do not use these logs to profile you.

What we do not do

We set no cookies. We use no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels, no social media widgets. We do not profile you. We take no automated decisions about you. We do not sell or share your data.

Videos

A video page shows a still image. The player loads from YouTube only when you press play. From that moment Google (YouTube LLC) sets cookies in your browser and receives your IP address, under its own privacy policy. Until you press play, YouTube receives nothing.

Who else is involved

Our hosting and our email are both provided by Register.it, and you can read its privacy policy. Nobody else processes your data for us, unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your message for as long as it is relevant to our relationship with you, and no longer. You can ask us to delete our copy at any time, and we will. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for the period it sets.

Your email also travels through our provider’s mail servers. They record technical details of the delivery — including IP addresses and the date and time — and keep them for six months, or for six years where Italian law requires it. Those records are not ours, and we cannot delete them.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or stop using it. Where it applies, you can ask for it in a portable form. Write to info@extendedplace.com. If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, the Italian supervisory authority.

Changes

If this policy changes, we update this page and the date below.
