About this release
Unlike the other songs on the EP, Why Are We Afraid? comes from the cinema: André Previn composed it for The Subterraneans, the 1960 film drawn from Jack Kerouac's novel. Enrico Pieranunzi recorded this version live in the studio, in a single take, once the sessions had ended.
