About this release
Pieranunzi Plays Previn (Live in Studio) is the unexpected final chapter of the sessions that produced Pieranunzi Plays Previn, Enrico Pieranunzi's first EP for Extended Place. With the recording already complete, Pieranunzi returned to the piano and recorded new versions of four of the songs, live in the studio, keeping the immediacy and freedom of a live performance. Released worldwide for the first time, these four tracks anticipate Pieranunzi Plays Previn Vol. 2, due in 2027.
