New Release: Valentin Silvestrov — 4 Bagatelles Op. 220 (For A. Stella)

In 2020, Alessandro Stella released Handsome Skies, an album entirely devoted to Valentin Silvestrov's Bagatelles for piano. A recording that reached the composer — and led to something extraordinary: Silvestrov dedicated his new Bagatelles Op. 220 to Stella, inscribing them "For A. Stella." Alessandro Stella's recording of these four pieces, made at Abbey Rocchi Studios in Rome, is out today on Extended Place.
