About this release
Il Grande Vuoto / The Great Void collects Vittorio Montalti's performances/installations commissioned by MAO – Museum of Oriental Art in Turin. Inspired by the Tibetan tradition and in particular by a very rare thangka representing Maitreya—the Buddha of the future—this electroacoustic work alternates very excited moments with meditative sound environments. The project sees the collaboration of pianist Gloria Campaner and the technical support of Tempo Reale. The EP is produced in collaboration with MAO.
