New Release: Thelonious Monk Reframed by No Trio For Cats

Thelonious Monk Reframed by No Trio For Cats is out today. The EP offers fresh and intimate reinterpretations of some of Thelonious Monk's most iconic works — explored through personal and original arrangements that blend creativity, intelligence, and humour. Pianist Andrea Saffirio writes: "I chose Monk for his irresistible sense of humor — his ability to turn dissonance, imperfection, and pain into a liberating game. This project is a journey that celebrates his extraordinary gift for confronting life and its paradoxes through music."
