About this release
Composed in 1955, Ernst Křenek's Harp Sonata reveals an essential, modern and intensely expressive side of the instrument — far from any decorative image of the harp. Valerio Lisci opens Triptych (Inherited Paths) with this rare work, introducing a journey through three of the twentieth century's defining legacies.
Valerio Lisci is winner of the Korea International Harp Competition in Seoul (2018), the Reinl-Stiftung Fondation Competition in Vienna (2018), the International Harp Sound Competition in Saluzzo (2016), and silver medalist at the USA International Harp Competition (2019).
